The course, 411 301 (English for Minors III) is intended for students who have already completed two courses of English for Minors as a prerequisite. The course is divided into four units: Entertainment, Business, Science and Technology, and Sex Education, and the four language skills are integrated in each unit.
As indicated in the course syllabus, students taking this course are required to develop their English language skills in the areas of listening, speaking, reading and writing. In addition, self-monitoring and self-evaluation charts are provided to assist the students in improving their writing skills as they complete the writing activities in each unit.
