This 15-hour lectures that are designed to give students a hand on the use of 2D- and 3D-seismic data in exploration and/or production of petroleum. Students will (1) learn how can seismic data represent subsurface geology such as rock properties and structural geology, (2) learn how to develop subsurface geological models and prepare structural and seismic attribute maps,(3) learn how to create a stratigraphic framework using seismic stratigraphy, and (4) dive into hands-on interpretation 2D and 3D seismic and well log data for construction various maps.
