Description: This course talks about Perspectives of history and philosophy of science, and its relationships to science education; The evolution of thinking in science and science education; The interface between philosophy of science and advancement of contemporary science and technology in science education. It consists of content as follows:
(1) From history of science to philosophy of science education, underpinning the lens of scientific discovery
(2) Science education as scientific inquiry, laboratory work, and conceptual change
(3) Contemporary science education by the integration of technology, and cognitive neuroscience
