This course aims to provide postgraduate students with the basic knowledge of different omics-platforms that are commonly used in systems biology studies including genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, microbiomics and cytomics, together with acquisition, processing, analysis and interpretation of data. Moreover, the course provides the understanding of basic biological networking and pathway analysis and data integration approach, for example, cross-omics data integration and omics-clinical data integration. In addition, assigned reading and discussion sessions are available for students to practice and apply their lecture-based understanding and knowledge on discussing the topic-related articles.
