This graduate class discusses essential background, theories, applications, overview, as well as state-of-the-art of Machine Learning. Students are expected to participate in 3 workshops laying background on machine learning and to work on coding and reading assignments. What students will learn in the course will lay essential ground for students to apply the knowledge and skills to practice as well as to further study to extend understanding of this fascinating science.
