This course is required for the Doctor of Philosophy Program in Nursing Science. The course focuses on the philosophy of sciences and the philosophy of nursing science. Additionally, the philosophical issues concerning the nature of sciences, the patterns of knowing, and knowledge development in nursing are emphasized throughout the course conduct. Lastly, the critical appraisal of philosophies of sciences and nursing sciences, the critical appraisal of Western and Eastern ways of inquiry are included.
