เป็นการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐานเรื่องการทำงานของอวัยวะต่างๆในร่างกายเพื่อความเข้าใจถึงพยาธิสรีรวิทยาต่าง ๆ ได้แก่  ระบบประสาทอัตโนวัติ, ระบบไหลเวียนเลือด, ระบบหายใจ, ของเหลวในร่างกายและไต, ระบบย่อยอาหาร, พลังงานเมแทบอลิซึม  และการควบคุมอุณหภูมิของร่างกาย, ระบบเส้นประสาทและกล้ามเนื้อ, ระบบประสาทสัมผัสพิเศษ  และระบบต่อมไร้ท่อ  สำหรับการศึกษาวิชานี้จะประกอบด้วยภาคบรรยายและปฏิบัติการ

                The course covers fundamental aspects of human and mammalian physiology as the basis for understanding some elementary concepts of clinical pathophysiology.  It also includes the autonomic nervous system, blood, heart and circulation, respiration, body fluid and kidney, digestion, energy metabolism and temperature regulation, nervous systems and muscle, special senses and endocrine glands.  The course is accomplished by means of lectures and laboratory experiments
