Cariology including concepts of dental caries, pathology, diagnosis, immunity of dental caries, biochemistry of saliva, current concepts in caries prevention and pharmacological control of dental plaque as well as oral physiology including physiology of oral sensation, mastication, swallowing, speech production and orofacial pain
